Resources to support your child's needs
Speech Language and Communication Needs
At Liscard Primary School we are committed to developing children's Speech Language and Communication skills. As a whole school we promote oracy and are part of the Oracy 21 project. All early years children are assessed and supported using the Wellcomm and NELI programmes and skills are practised and developed throughout whole class teaching, focussed activities and continuous provision.
As our pupils progress through school these skills are developed within all subjects plus those children with additional needs in these areas benefit from extra support and intervention.
Our school are supported by NHS Speech and Language Therapists and additional to this we purchase support and advice from Talk About Town (Private Speech and Language Therapists).
