Wirral Foodbank

About Wirral Foodbank:
“We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.”

Over the next 3 weeks Liscard Primary School are collecting items for the Wirral foodbank and would appreciate any donations.

Wirral foodbank have suggested items such as the following, however any donations are greatly received:
Tinned meat
Tinned fish
Packet soup
Fruit squash
Tinned fruit
Pasta sauce
Sponge puddings
Biscuits
Long grain rice
Soap powder tabs
Deodorant 
Sugar

They will be collecting all donated goods from school on Wednesday 17th October at 9.15am.
