Odd Socks Day

20th March 2018
DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS/ ODD SOCKS DAY

To raise awareness, people are being asked to wear colourful socks tomorrow (Wednesday 21st March). It’s still School Uniform .... but with odd socks if they wish.

This day is more about awareness of how we are all different. The aim behind the campaign is that they talk about how the socks may be different but they are still socks.

People who have been born with a different number of chromosomes, and may be Down Syndrome, may look or act differently but they are actually just the same and equal as everybody else. We are all different and equal.

Children can make a charitable donation if they wish.

Thank You
