Friends of Liscard Primary

Welcome to the “Friends of Liscard Primary School” page

Friends of Liscard Primary (FoLPS) is open to any parent or carer that has a child in the school and wants to make a difference. We’re not about endless meetings, or giving up large amounts of our precious time, it’s about making a difference in whatever way we can – from making brews to selling cakes, making posters and selling tickets or perhaps just being there for other parents to talk to.

We are always on the lookout for fresh ideas and volunteers, so if you have some free time, a fabulous idea, or simply want to reach out to other parents and carers, then feel free to drop into ‘The Lodge’ on a Wednesday at 9am, or catch one of us on a Friday afternoon in the sports hall from 2.45pm.

Alternatively, you could always email us at tfolps@gmail.com or find us on facebook

https:www.facebook.com/friendsofliscardprimaryschool/

With all the excellent support FoLPS provides school, there is a real desire to give as many parents/carers as possible the chance to shine and share their valuable skills.

It's a great thing to add to your CV and for those who help with the Social Supermarket, free Health and Hygiene Level 2 training is provided.

Please see the Roles and Vacancies document below for more information or contact FolPS via email or Facebook.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF OUR SOCIAL SUPERMARKET:

COMING SOON TO LISCARD PRIMARY!

What is a Social Supermarket?
Social Supermarkets are community led shops where people can purchase good quality nutritious food at low cost. They may have a mix of fresh, frozen and packaged food for sale, usually at less than half the price you would pay in your local supermarket.

What is a hub?
At our hub we will be increasing the food provision currently provided by Fed Up Wirral and also providing non-food related support, for example job advice, benefit support and budgeting advice, to help people make steps to move out of poverty

Who can use a hub?
Anybody can use a hub once they have completed the free simple membership form.

How can I help?
If you would like to volunteer, please pop into school and speak to a member of the Office Team; they will put you in touch with us. Alternatively contact us by our email at tfolps@gmail.com or find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/friendsofliscardprimaryschool/
