Poppy Assembly for First World War Centenary

On Tuesday 25th November 2014 children at Liscard Primary School took part in a Poppy Assembly to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. The children made their own poppy hat each which created a field of poppies when viewed from above. The children and staff sang songs and listened to poetry readings. During the assembly thousands of paper poppies were dropped from the balcony creating a very spectacular site.
