Crayon Protest!

8th December 2014

Our Year 1 children have been enjoying reading a book called “The Day the Crayons Quit”. In the book the crayons become fed up and decide to quit. The story inspired the children to stage a crayon protest! The children made crayon hats and banners which they carried on their march around the school. They also made some fabulous crayon models!

The children really enjoyed bringing the story to life in such a fun and creative manner. Have a look below at some of the photographs from the protest.
